Canadian Renewable Energy Network -- Created by Natural Resources Canada to increase understanding of solar and other renewable energy options and to accelerate the development and commercialization of renewable energy technologies.
Renewable Resource Data Center (RReDC) - The RReDC provides information on solar and other sustainable energy resources in the United States, including publications, data, and maps. Managed by the Department of Energy, Office of Energy and Renewable Energy.

National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) - A national laboratory for solar and other renewable energy. Offers information on Solar Energy Basics and Solar Research. The laboratory is administered by the U.S. Department of Energy, Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy.
Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy (EERE) - Leads the Federal government's research, development, and deployment efforts in energy efficiency and solar and other forms of renewable energy. Coordinates efforts to bring clean, reliable and affordable energy technologies to the marketplace. An office of the U. S. Department of Energy.

American Solar Energy Society (ASES) - A national organization dedicated to advancing the use of solar energy for the benefit of citizens and the global environment. ASES promotes the widespread near- and long-term use of solar energy. The Society organizes the National Solar Conference, and the National Solar Tour, publishes Solar Today and the Sunbeam online newsletter, and distributes other publications on solar energy.
Solar Electric Power Association - An organization of utilities, electric service providers, manufacturers, installers, government, and research members. SEPA's mission is to facilitate the use and integration of solar electric power by utilities, electric service providers, and their customers.
